When we found out our house was leaky the first estimate we had to fix it was completely out of our price range. We were thinking of tearing it some or all of it down and starting again. The estimate for the design was within our budget, and was realistic, and their quotation was in the same range. We were impressed with the transparency of the quote and the contract, as it allowed us to understand what the scope of quoted works and the risks were, and monitor cost variances as we went.

We have dealt with Total Build twice since 2019. The first time was for renovations to a previous house and the second the building of our dream home. For the renovations, Total Build replaced three bathrooms, the kitchen and laundry, and built a large deck. For our new home Total Build managed all aspects of a large rural build including vehicle access, site preparation, septic and water systems, and landscaping, in addition to the build itself.
The professionalism and workmanship that we have seen in our dealings with Total Build has been second-to-none. Throughout both projects all of the builders showed a pride in their work which was reflected in all aspects of the job. Everything from their attention-to-detail, to the way that the worksite was left at the end of every day, was outstanding. Total Build organized all aspects of the work including all subtrades such as plumbing, electrical, painting, earthworks, landscaping, etc. and liaised with the kitchen manufacturer so that we only needed a single point of contact. Over the course of both projects we had regular site meetings and were always kept up to date with progress and timings. Both the renovations and build were finished on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard. We have now lived in our new house for a year and continue to be impressed at the quality of our home and the workmanship evident in every aspect. We highly recommend Total Build and would absolutely use them again should the occasion arise.
